Two guard dogs spend the day patrolling a yard, from one wall to the other, tail raised and nose in the air. There are very important rules to follow. Everything has a set time, even the break to scratch an ear. And fixed shifts: when one sleeps, the other has to stay awake. With such rigour, no intruder can appear. But then… what is a stray cat doing by the gate? It can’t stay there! And why does it want to do everything differently? You can’t! You can’t! The rules must be followed! Or maybe it’s enough to change them just a little…
This performance was created within the project Boca Aberta, by Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, dedicated to creating creative experiences for children from the age of 3, developed in a school context, while promoting critical thinking and empowering education and culture professionals working with these age groups.
