TIKTEK ENSEMBLE

TikTek Ensemble is a duet of local musicians who, out of their mutual complicity and passion for playing live music to make people dance, embarked on the idea of creating Ecstatic Dance encounters where two hours of pre-mixed musical selections are played on a sound system that intersects with the live music they both conceived and devised. Ecstatic Dance is a combination of conscious dance and dance floor culture in a party without conversation, mobile phones and mind altering substances. The challenge of Ecstatic Dance is to promote a state of ecstasy and meditation through breathing, movement and contact. From this experience, the musicians offer a path that goes from introspection to ecstasy, ending in deep relaxation
