‘Melting Tof' is a programme consisting of a joyful mix of two short puppet and object theatre pieces, linked by a sparkling DJ set by the Belgian company Tof Théâtre.
Four characters share their passions at the end of their lives, determined not to give up their desires. Faced with the fragility and impotence of the body that comes with age, the characters in each piece find unique ways to express the vitality that still inhabits them, perhaps more than ever.
Été 69
The evening opens with 'Été 69', a nostalgic, tender and uninhibited poem. Jean, a human-sized puppet created and animated by Alain Moreau, plays with his memories. He stages and projects them onto a screen using small puppets and micro-cameras. Between tight and open shots, 'Été 69' is a beautiful narrative that contains many other stories.

Antoine & Gaby Dj's
During the transition between 'Été 69' and 'Chaud must go on...', Antoine and Gaby, driven by a mad desire to party, organised a DJ performance. Instead of rotting away in their retirement home, they decided to take to the streets and give it their all! Two turntables, a box full of 45 rpm records of all ages and youth! Whether you're 20, 40 or 60, they have a musical hit to get the crowd dancing. Antoine and Gaby, DJs for life!

Chaud must go on…
The concert is about to start. Everything is prepared for the arrival of Bernard, the singer, leader and star of the group. But something happens. He asks for help from his guitarist, who, after many mishaps, finally puts him in the spotlight. And then, like an out-of-control locomotive, Bernard rushes like a bullet along the rails of blues and rock'n'roll. Nothing can stop him! Bernard lives intensely; Bernard is the rage of life; Bernard is rock'n'roll.
