“10 years | 134 posters” transforms Straw Theatre 2026 into a vast living mural of Lavrar o Mar. Bringing together 134 posters created over the last decade, the exhibition journeys through performances, festivals, workshops, schools, walks, concerts and community projects, revealing a memory shaped not only by events, but by ways of inhabiting the territory.
By occupying the space of Teatro de Palha as a continuous visual installation, the posters cease to be merely graphic objects and become fragments of time, traces of artistic journeys and remains of collective experiences. Each composition carries the marks of a context, an energy and a relationship between artistic creation and life in community.
More than graphic documents, these posters reveal a visual language in constant transformation, created by 1000olhos. Through typographies, colours, overlays and scales, an identity emerges that has grown side by side with Lavrar o Mar’s projects - at once experimental and close, capable of bringing together contemporaneity, landscape, community and imagination. More than a retrospective, this exhibition proposes a reflection on how design can also become living memory, emotional landscape and an affective archive of an artistic community in movement.
